How to use Kling 4.0
Kling 4.0 is built for longer, planned clips. Write one prompt for a continuous shot, or split the scene into shots with their own prompts and lengths; the video lasts as long as the shots added together. Use Image to Video when a product photo, a character or a location must open the clip, and add an ending image when you need the shot to land on a specific frame.
Example prompt
A detective in a black trench coat stands on a rooftop in the rain, looking through a telescope at the street below. Neon reflections ripple across the wet concrete as the camera slowly circles behind him.
Technical details
Review your result
Watch the whole clip, not only the first seconds. In multi-shot videos check each cut: the subject's face, clothing and props should stay consistent and every shot should follow its own prompt. Kling 4.0 on Raywake returns video without a sound option, so plan audio separately.
Inputs and settings
Choose prompt (up to 26,000 characters) for one continuous shot, or multi_prompt for separate shots. Send one of the two, not both. Each shot takes a prompt of up to 512 characters and 1–30 seconds; shot lengths must add up to 3–30 seconds.
Pick 720p or 1080p (the default). Text to Video offers 16:9, 9:16, 1:1 and 21:9; Image to Video follows your start_image_url and accepts an optional end_image_url (JPEG, PNG or WebP, at least 300 px, aspect ratio 0.4–2.5).
Raywake bills Kling 4.0 per second of video: $0.2737 per second at 720p and $0.4097 per second at 1080p. A 5-second 1080p clip quotes at $2.05 and the full 30 seconds at $12.29. The quote is frozen before you generate.
